Draped bust of Mên to right, wearing laureate Phrygian cap decorated with star-on-crescent and additional stars. Rev. ΓOP-ΓIΠ/ΠE-ΩN Dionysos standing facing, head to left, holding bunch of grapes in his right hand and thyrsos with his left; at feet to left, panther. HGC 7, 10. MacDonald 178. Extremely rare. An attractive example of this interesting issue with an attractive glossy patina. Traces of overstriking and with some adjustment marks, otherwise, very fine.
